College Station, Texas…… The Academy for the Visual & Performing Arts at Texas A&M is proud to present the Cassatt String Quartet, in concert Tuesday, October 9th at 8:00 p.m., in the Rudder Theatre on the A&M Campus. Enjoy a night of amazing music from this internationally acclaimed ensemble who will perform Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 8, Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 1, and a special piece composed by A&M’s own Peter Lieuwen, to be performed with student musicians from the A&M String Orchestra.
