Beginning in September 2012, the Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts will fund 6-8 Guest Artist Residencies annually. Guest Artist Residencies will consist of nationally and internationally known artists, with exceptional skill in their area of expertise. These artists will visit Texas A&M University on a short-term basis and will give public performances of their respective works (where applicable), as well as workshops and/or speeches to enhance the education and general awareness of students and other A&M community members. Look for announcements soon on the visitors for the 2012-2013 season.
